Ju Hur

Professor of New Testament Studies

Dr. Hur received Jesus as his Lord when he was a high school student in 1980 and was called for a gospel evangelist by Student For Christ. After reading his doctoral degree in England, he has been teaching New Testament studies in ACTS/AIGS since 2001. His special areas are the Lukan theology(Luke-Acts), pneumatology, and narrative approach to biblical interpretation. He is also interested in biblical theology along with its field of mission and preaching. He served as the president of Korean Evangelical New Testament Studies(2020~21) and is now serving as the general secretary of Korea Research Center of Biblical Theology(2022-). As an ordained presbyterian pastor, Hur has experienced church ministry in Philadelphia, Sheffield and Seoul.
