Thank you for your interest in ACTS International Graduate School (AIGS).
To ensure a smooth online application process, please carefully read the following instructions and prepare the required documents in advance. Additional information can be found on the homepage.
The online application form will only be accessible during the official application period (15th August – 15th September), so it is essential that all documents are ready before hand.
Please type all required information and upload the necessary documents during the online submission process. Incomplete applications will be disqualified.
1. Medical Certificate [File Download]
Please use the AIGS medical certificate form (attached to these instructions) and have it completed and signed by a licensed physician.
2. Passport Photo (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
Submit a recent photo taken within the last six months. Digital alterations (e.g., Photoshop)
are not allowed.
3. Valid Passport Copy
Your passport must be valid for at least one year from the date of application.
4. Diplomas and Transcripts (with Official Seal)
1) Submit notarized copies of your graduation certificates and transcripts in accordance with Apostille standards.
2) If your documents are not in English, include certified English translations that are also notarized per Apostille requirements.
3) Applications with improperly notarized documents will be disqualified.
5. Proof of English Proficiency
1) Submit a valid English proficiency certificate (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS, CEFR, TEPS) issued within two years.
2) Applicants from countries or institutions where English is the official language of instruction are exempt, but must submit an official letter from their undergraduate institution confirming this.
6. Health Condition Declaration (if applicable)
1) Submit a signed declaration if you have received treatment for any serious physical or psychological conditions in the past five years.
2) Failure to disclose such information may lead to dismissal from the program.
7. Spousal Statement (if married)
Submit a one-page (A4) statement written by your spouse expressing their thoughts and support regarding your intention to study at AIGS.

1) Academic Scholarship: The enrolled students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 to remain eligible.
2) Work and Study Scholarship: The enrolled student is required to apply for a 16- hour Work and Study Scholarship each semester to receive it.
3) Church Matching Fund: The student is solely responsible for securing their own Church Matching Fund. The school does not provide or arrange it.
4) Registration Fee: The student is responsible for paying the Registration Fee (KRW 300,000) each semester.
9. Christian Commitment Essay (1&2)
1) Statement of Personal Testimony: Share your Christian journey and commitment,
including a brief autobiography, your understanding of God, and how your faith
shapes your life. (Limit: 2,000 words)
2) Statement of Ministerial Calling: Describe your calling and ministry vision. Explain
how studying at AIGS will support your vocation. (Limit: 2,000 words)
10. Academic Thesis Proposal (For Th.M., Th.M.+Ph.D., and Ph.D. applicants only)
Provide a proposal of your intended research, including your objectives, academic and theological background, and how the program will support your goals. (Approx. 1,500– 2,000 words).
All required documents must be scanned and uploaded online (in PDF format only, including the photo) for verification by the AIGS Registrar before mailing.
Documents sent by post without prior upload and approval by the AIGS Registrar will not be accepted or stored.
Failure to upload and submit verified documents by the application deadline will render your application incomplete or invalid.
Submitted documents will not be returned under any circumstances. Please refrain from requesting the return or storage of documents for future use.
Do not upload any documents that are not listed in the requirements.
