AIGS began the Fall 2025 semester with a Spirit-filled Spiritual Retreat held from September 3–5. We were honored to welcome Rev. James Kang McCann, an AIGS alumnus (M.Div. 1997, formerly ISA), as our distinguished speaker. The retreat theme, “All Things to All People: Diaspora Identity and Ministry in a Hybrid World” (1 Corinthians 9:22), was brought to life through Rev. James’s powerful sermons and heartfelt testimonies. He shared his journey from early childhood struggles, through immigration to the USA, to his theological training at ACTS and his ongoing mission work in Korea. With warmth and authenticity, he recalled treasured memories of his time at ACTS while encouraging students to embrace their own calling with courage and faith. His life and ministry reflect the very vision of AIGS, reminding us of the impact one life surrendered to God can have on the nations. It was especially meaningful that, for the first time, an alumnus served as our retreat speaker. We are truly blessed by his ministry and continue to lift up Rev. McCann, his family, and his mission in prayer.
