Dear AIGS Students,

Due to the increasing number of tuberculosis (TB) cases, all students, especially international students, are advised to take extra precautions to protect their health and the well-being of our community.

Please carefully read the information provided below and follow the instructions accordingly.

Important Instructions

If you suspect that you may have tuberculosis (TB) or are experiencing any TB-related symptoms, please contact the AIGS Office promptly.
If you have been diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB), please inform the AIGS Office so that we can coordinate with the local public health center and assist you in receiving the necessary medical consultations and treatment.

Your health and safety are important to us. We kindly ask for your cooperation in helping maintain a healthy and safe environment for everyone in the AIGS community.

Flu Vaccination Notice

As in previous years, Dr. Kyung-il Lee from Giheung St. Mary’s Clinic will visit our campus to provide flu vaccinations.

To help everyone stay healthy throughout the winter, we strongly encourage you to receive a flu vaccination. (Please note that getting a flu shot at a general clinic usually costs approximately KRW 40,000 or more.)

We inform you that the schedules and the details of PE (Preliminary Examination) and CE (Comprehensive Examination) for Fall 2026 are as follows; 1.PE (Preliminary Examination) 1) Applicant: Th.M. (Those who have completed at least two semesters and earn at least 15 credits) 2) Exam Range: 1 Major 3) Pass Score: 70 or higher / 100 4) PE Application Period: October 26 (Monday) ~ 30 noon (Friday), 2026. ① Application Fee: 30,000 won (First, fill out the application form at the office.) ② ACTS-in login - Application Services - Preliminary Exam(P.E.) Application ③ A student majoring in OT or NT or HT shall select one part among each CE example and apply. 5) PE Day & Time: November 13, 2026 (Friday) at 9:00 ~ 12:00 p.m. (※ Subject to change. Individual notification) 2. CE (Comprehensive Examination) 1) Applicant: ① Ph.D. (Those who have completed at least four semesters and earn at least 24 credits) ② Th.M.+Ph.D. (Those who have completed at six semesters and earn at least 36 credits) 2) Examine Range: 4 Majors + 1 Elective (5 subjects) 3) Pass Score: 70 or higher / 100 (for each subject). [If you have a subject fail, must re-exam it.] 4) CE Application Period: November 23 (Monday) ~ 27 noon (Friday), 2026 ① Application Fee: 250,000 won [5 subjects] (50,000 won / subject) (First, fill out the application form at the office.) ② ACTS-in login - Application Services - Comprehensive Exam(C.E.) 16-hours work guide for the Fall semester of 2026 1. Title : 16-hours working 2. 16-hours Deadline for application submission : Aug. 31st, 2026 ~ Dec. 18th, 2026 3. 16-hours work confirmation deadline : Dec. 18th, 2026 When a student finishes 16-hours working, please submit the confirmation. 4. Applications for libraries and English boxes can only be made on Google. See link Go to Library Go to English Box 5. Addition : ① Please keep your working hours. ② The working time at the library cannot be changed. So please apply carefully. ③ A student must follow the directions of the department in which he/she works. The AIGS office does not have the right of the working. ④ If a student does not take supervisor's signature, it will be rejected. Therefore, a student must get a signature from the person in charge of where he/she works and submit it. -> In case of worship team and student body, a student should take a signature of the president of the student body ⑤ Students who do not submit by Dec. 18th will have their scholarships refunded. ⑥ Please check the attached file. ⑦ If you have any questions, please visit our office or send us an email. 5. Book Bank Opening Schedule for Fall Semester 2026 The AIGS Book Bank will open on the following days: September 3 (Thu): 13:00 – 17:00 September 18 (Tue): 10:00 – 12:00 / 13:00 – 18:00 Location: Library Building 3rd floor (reading room). Rental fee: 1,500₩ per book for the entire semester. NOTICE: 1. Prepare your cash in advance (preferably in smaller bills/coins). 2. Complete the required form and submit the payment in cash to the Book Bank manager. 3. As we are now sharing a public space within the library, please maintain a quiet atmosphere throughout the process. *The penalty fee of loss and damage will follow the "AIGS Book Form" at the end of the semester. Hence, fill in the form carefully. *The Book Bank will open only on the dates set above, please follow the schedule. For further inquiries, please contact Diana.

Group Application for Alien Registration Card (ARC)

*If you fail to submit your documents within the deadline, you must apply for the Alien Registration Card (ARC) by yourself. 4. Required Documents * Please carefully review the attached file before preparing your documents. * All documents must be fully completed. * Applications with missing documents will not be accepted. (The forms are available on the AIGS website under Current Students → AIGS Documents.) 5. Visa Extension and Registration Guide (Current Students& New Students)

Current students & New Students must prepare the required documents for their visa extension and submit them within the deadline announced by the university. Please note that applications will not be accepted outside the designated submission period. Among the students applying for a visa extension through the university, those residing in the dormitory do not need to prepare the additional document issued by the AIGS Office. Checking Chapel Score Spring 2026

AIGS students should check one's chapel score at ACTS-in. If he/she has any objection, email to AIGS office (eastsung@acts.ac.kr) as following form until July 13th, 2026. It will be revised after reviewing the objection. If you fail to provide a clarification or do not receive a chapel grade for no specific reason, you will be subject to various penalties such as no graduation and suspension of scholarships.
