Schedules and Details of PE & CE, Spring 2026
We would like to inform you of the schedules and details for the Preliminary Examination (PE) and Comprehensive Examination (CE) for Spring 2026 as follows:
I. Preliminary Examination (PE)
1) Eligibility
- Th.M. students who have completed at least two semesters and earned a minimum of 15 credits
2) Exam Scope
3) Passing Score
4) Application Period
- May 4 (Monday) – May 8 (Friday), 2026 (until 12:00 PM)
5) Application Procedure
- Pay application fee: 30,000 KRW
- (Submit the application form at the office first)
- Log in to ACTS-in → Application Services → Preliminary Exam (P.E.) Application
- Students majoring in OT, NT, or HT must select one section from the CE examples and apply
6) Exam Schedule
- May 29, 2026 (Friday), 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
(Subject to change; individual notifications will be provided)
II. Comprehensive Examination (CE)
1) Eligibility
- Ph.D. students: At least four semesters completed and 24 credits earned
- Th.M. + Ph.D. students: At least six semesters completed and 36 credits earned
2) Exam Scope
- Four major subjects + one elective (total of five subjects)
3) Passing Score
- 70 or higher out of 100 for each subject
(Any failed subject must be retaken)
4) Application Period
- June 22 (Monday) – June 26 (Friday), 2026 (until 12:00 PM)
5) Application Procedure
- Pay application fee: 250,000 KRW (50,000 KRW per subject)
- (Submit the application form at the office first)
- Log in to ACTS-in → Application Services → Comprehensive Exam (C.E.) Application
- Students selecting NT, OT, or HT as their elective must choose one section from the CE examples
6) Exam Schedule
- July 13 (Monday) – July 17 (Friday), 2026, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
